HL Gallery is proud to present “TRISS” by Triss [BST], which in 2016 celebrates twenty years as an active graffiti writer. Over the years he has become one of the largest, most influential and stylistically most interesting writer in Sweden so far. Styles, the core of graffiti, is his main driving force and Gothenburg wildstyle from the mid 90′s, wich he grew up with, has always been a great inspiration. He combines tireless quantity with an uncompromising focus on quality and constantly developing his own style in a careless and almost disrespectful manner. Constantly moving forward at a pace that makes it difficult, for those trying to copy his ideas, to keep up.
In recent times, he has, along with his painting in the public space, taken his private creation to a new level in a concentrated and purposefully way. By applying the same focus and energy, as in his regular graffiti, onto canvases and wood panels, he has created intense paintings where every surface is filled to the maximum with colors, shapes and above all – style. With various techniques, mixing spray paint with ink, acrylic and airbrush, the art works have been produced with the same uncompromising attitude as with all graffiti by Triss: They are proud to be just graffiti.

Do not miss the “TRISS” exhibition on HL Gallery, Triss [BST] ‘s first solo show ever and a unique chance to see his graffiti in a new way, as well as take part in an oeuvre that normally and constantly risk being quickly washed off, painted over or roll away.
