We dig deep in yellow-colored styles and words from the legendary twins out of Brazil, Os Gemeos. Get a glimpse of the fabulous life of the globetrotter Cherokee, avant-garde writer Exot shows a bunch of unpublished style-pushing pieces and last but not least we have a chat and pictures from the refreshing style of Russian writer, Juice.

Else than that, we have cooked up a very juicy mix of people and styles from all over to cover the urge for any graff nerd interested in trains, walls or throw-ups with modern and unique touch from writers such as Horfee, Peach, Kaos, Egs & Finsta to name a few. Don’t sleep!

Travel Report – Sao Paulo, Brazil #2 [Graffiti]

Graffiti_Sao-Paulo_Spraydaily_Allyouseeiscrimeinthecity_01

I was never really in to graffiti. That is, I’ve been interested in what now is called street art since I can remember, and I always noticed graff, but I prefer tags and bombing to pieces. Then I came to Sao Paulo, and well, BOOM! This city is covered in all types of public space take over and graffiti is a huge part of it. SP is home to some really great writers, and in my opinion graff here is creative and evolving in a way I haven’t seen in other places. Maybe it’s just that my eyes where opened, maybe it’s that reality for writers here is different than in the northern parts of the world. Graff is somewhat accepted by people and society here, it’s part of the culture to paint houses in bright colors and police don’t really have time or care to stop you if you’re doing a piece in the middle of the day. Look like you’re supposed to be there and nobody will mind, not even if you’re doing a huge piece in the middle of a busy highway! If you have the opportunity to come here, do it! There’s really no place like it, the streets speak loud and the people here are among the friendliest I’ve encountered! Come here, paint, bomb, drink caipirinhas and experience the puls of a city that truly never rests!
