We are happy to announce our latest book, Blackbook Legacy TSC x NSA, an exclusive look into Swedish graffiti history, with ~100 unpublished sketches from the private blackbooks of two of Sweden’s most influential crews. A rare glimpse into style, friendship, and a scene usually kept behind closed doors.

BUY THE BOOK: UNFADE.eu – Blackbook Legacy TSC x NSA
If you own a shop contact: UNBOXdistribution.com

An exclusive insight into Swedish graffiti history.

Blackbook Legacy presents sketches and documents the connection between two of Sweden’s most influential graffiti crews: TSC (Totalizers) from Stockholm and NSA from Skåne in the south. During the 1980s, both crews stood out for their technical skill and distinctive styles. When they eventually met, their shared passion for graffiti led to a friendship that has lasted for decades.

For the first time, these crews open their private blackbooks to the public. The book features around 100 previously unpublished sketches from seven writers—material that until now has only been seen within the crews and their closest circles. Participating artists: Core, Impact, Phoenix, Pike, Ruze, Skize, Take.

More than just a collection of sketchbook pages, Blackbook Legacy offers rare context and depth. Alongside the drawings, readers gain insight into the stories behind them, with personal memories, reflections, and rare photographs. The result is a unique opportunity to follow the writers’ development—from early experimentation to highly refined styles.

A rare and important release for anyone interested in graffiti history, offering a glimpse into a part of the culture that is seldom documented.

Names: Qturbo’79 / Xn3Kk
Crews: MVP, NSA, ABC, ’79Rebels
City/Country: Amsterdam, The Netherlands
When did you start writing? 1993/1994

What’s graffiti for you?
Having a laugh and a good day out with friends, trying to find and express my own personal graff-style.

Influences?
Movies, record-sleeves, typography, paintings, music, architecture, comics, posters, flyers, daily news, mags, life.

Tell us about your city, how is life and graffiti there?
Amsterdam is the biggest city and capital of the Netherlands, graff has it roots starting in the 70’s and to me had a explosion of dope letter styles in the 80’s and early 90’s. To me these styles are still timeless and the base for my current lettering. Nowadays Amsterdam has many different crews consisting of international crew members, many different styles, lots of tourists and too few walls….

What keeps you still writing?
As long as I am enjoying the game and as long as I have the feeling i am personally progressing, I will continue writing!

What first made you interested in graffiti and how did you end up on that track?
I guess like a lot of people I was blown away after watching Style Wars at the art class of junior high. It was that same day I sketched my first piece on paper and I still watch Style Wars to get ideas.

What trends are you seeing now in the graffiti world that you don’t like?
To me personally I don’t mind, I don’t follow the trends. If I have to mention one, I’d have to say: less street art, more graffiti please!

What do you do when you’re not painting?
Listening to music, making beats, digging vinyl, working on mixtapes, reading… and I sketch a lot. I mean, really… A lot….

How would you describe your style?
Fancy lettering with an oldschool touch.

Can you remember the first piece you did?
yes that was In ’95 after checkin’ out this particular spot for weeks I did my first piece at night, at a illegal spot, at the back of a halfpipe at a local playground…. Hey, at least I wasn’t caught…

Future plans?
Would like to visit more European cities and paint!

Do you adapt your pieces and tags to the spot/surface?
No not really, I’d like to stick to my style no matter the surface.

What do you think about the new generation of writers in your city?
Some are talented and really up, it is nice to see new writers putting up new ideas, lets hope they keep the scene alive!

What are the best and worst aspects of graffiti?
To me the best part is probably painting a fresh new spot with good friends. The worst part is that Holland has such unpredictable weather. While painting in ur swimming trunks, rain can just surprise us here….

Who do you paint for?
I only paint for myself.

What writers have inspired you?
There are too many really. To name a few: Ashq, Noah, Keo, KoolHerz 131, Serve, Dondi, Skeme, Part1, Dez, and of course al lot of Dutch 80’s and 90’s graff writers.

Can you ever feel tired of graffiti?
No not really.

What do you hope people will think and feel when they see your stuff?
Holy jumpin’ jetfish!… This is iiiit…. This is iiiit!

FIVE FAVORITES
Spray Paint: No preference.
City: New York, Berlin, Amsterdam.
Markers/pens: No preference
Surface: A concrete wall of a abandoned building or rusty steel…
Cap: Fatties and skinnies
