Visiting Jason Revok’s studio as he prepares a body of assemblage work for an upcoming show.
For the last 25 years, Revok has been considered one of the most prolific and respected graffiti writers in the world.
With the immense notoriety came attention from law enforcement. In the late 2000’s, he was arrested and incarcerated on three different occasions in three different countries, partially as an act of attempting to set an example, and who better than one of the largest names in graffiti.

Revok, now a celebrated and internationally exhibited artist, prepares for a solo show in his hometown of Los Angeles. His process, especially that with his table saw use, captivated me. His risk tolerance, while also being precise, clearly had carried over from graffiti.

The event ‘Style Discipline’ is an international graffiti festival that takes place on the island of Puerto Rico.
