When did you start writing? Around ’99

What’s graffiti for you?
An everyday opportunity to express myself and overcome my lack of will power.

Influences?
Most of all my friends and crew mates. Books and magazines about old school New York or scandinavian graffiti, surfing through the internet etc.

Tell us about your city, how is life and graffiti there?
It’s a rather small city. Berlin and Hamburg are just around the corner and so it is sometimes a little bit boring here. Graff life is also not very interesting here. Only a few spots to paint and hardly the quality that it was 20 years ago.

What keeps you still writing?
Realizing all the ideas coming to my mind and achieving a certain continuity.

What first made you interested in graffiti and how did you end up the track?
Nothing special… Noticing that some of my classmates were into graffiti. After some time of sketching on my own I dared to show them my stuff.

What do you do when you’re not painting?
Working and thinking about getting money without working.

How would you describe your style?
A little bit of everything. It should be funny, but not too funny. It should be aggressive but not too aggressiv. And above all: connections.

Can you remember the first piece you did?
A chrome piece under a dark motorway bridge in the middle of nowhere. But the piece is still there.

Future plans?
Paint as much as I can and staying productive in any way. Do you adapt your pieces and tags to the spot/surface? At least I try.

What do you think about the new generation of writers in your city?
To be honest, there is nothing which really could awake my interest. A lot of football hooligan graffiti and people who go over old school stuff with ugly chrome pieces. But unfortunately I think this is not only a problem of my hometown.

Who do you paint for?
I paint for myself, some of my friends and my girlfriend. If they like it, everything is ok.

What writers have inspired you?
First and above all my crew mate Kube which is also one of my best friends for many years. The permanent discussions with him about style, colors etc. inspired me more than anything else in graffiti.

Can you ever feel tired of graffiti?
I hope not, but I’ve often been tired of the people who are involved in graffiti.

What do you hope people will think and feel when they see your stuff?
I don’t know. Maybe some will like it and some will hate it. But that’s their problem…
