When did you start writing? 1993

What’s graffiti for you?
Freedom & Style.

Influences?
Everything type related, graffiti wise most of the new york writers from back in the day like Dondi. Nowadays mostly guys from my crew and the variety of styles Santiago got to offer.

Tell us about your city, how are life and graffiti there?
Santiago is an urban chaos that I love, lots of stress in all senses of the word but a great place to paint, still, no laws oppressing graffiti a 100%. In terms of writers, you can see multiple styles of letterforms and fill-ins, you never get bored of it.

What keeps you still writing?
The sense of freedom and that personal moment that the system is always trying to take away.

What first made you interested in graffiti and how did you end up on that track?
Watching beat street made me realize there was this thing called “Graffiti” that was a fusión of writing your name the coolest way possible, accompanied by a comic book character (That had me going when I was young).

What trends are you seeing now in the graffiti world that you don’t like?
Nothing in the graffiti world in particular, it bothers me how many other tendencies try to be graffiti so hard.

What do you do when you’re not painting?
Hanging out with my wife and our little Pedro.

How would you describe your style?
An Abstract Impact that says, “It doesn’t matter what it says, just look”.

Can you remember the first piece you did?
Sure, it was in 93 with my bro Sean, we painted our crew name CWP on a great spot couple meters away from the police station! Jejej looking for that adrenaline rush!!! And then running away ¡!

Future plans?
Keep it evolving, traveling and keeping the feeling alive!

Do you adapt your pieces and tags to the spot/surface?
For sure, that’s super important in order to have a flowing style, improvisation and experimenting with new shapes.

What do you think about the new generation of writers in your city?
It’s steady growing, mostly on the bombing side. I do miss seeing more Wild Style on the streets but I value the variety of styles and that you see many influences at the same time instead of a “city style”.

What are the best and worst aspects of graffiti?
The best, the true friends that I meet in the graffiti world and the worst not having all time available to paint.

Who do you paint for?
For me!! I’m my biggest fan and my worst critic.

What writers have inspired you?
Many! The main I can recall would be Dondi, Dare, and Os Gemeos.

Can you ever feel tired of graffiti?
Of curse, but my experience taught me that the more tired I feel, the more I have to go out and paint my shit.

What do you hope people will think and feel when they see your stuff?
That is somebody that loves what he does, doesn’t matter if they like it or not.
