Around the time when the whole Hip Hop movement was getting more media attention and its key players were able to earn some income on what up to only a few years earlier was only for the love of doing it.

The clubs and the art scene in Manhattan were already taking notice and with some major movie releases like Beat Street and the West Coast movie Breakdance the rest of the world was not far behind.
