When did you start writing?
Well, I started acknowledge graffiti when Hip Hop movement rising up in Malaysia back in 2004 and my first piece is in my own room with basic color like black, red, blue and green. I pretty much started when I’m just a lil’ boy.

What’s graffiti for you?
Graffiti is my way of life. Its my getaway of a stressful environment from work and life. Graffiti connects people, that’s what I love about it, we can meet good peoples or writers from around the world and share a painting session together and having the best time of my life.

Influences?
It’s pretty mundane, most of my influence came from myself, my homies and peoples around me.

Tell us about your city, how is life and graffiti there?
Kuala Lumpur? Here is a sin city with rapid development and modern infrastructure. We’re just a small country but the scene is growing. The number of writers are increasing and so does the amount of burner walls, they’ve got a good quality of style and mad skills. But we’re running low on bombers to compare with others Asian country like Indonesia. They’ve crazy mad scene over there!

What keeps you still writing?
I always try to do better from the last one, I’m never fully satisfied. When I got a new ideas of color combination or a cool theme, its always pushed me to paint more and more! And my homies also been a great motivation to always keep doing burners.

What first made you interested in graffiti and how did you end up on that track?
Back then i watched some local rapper music video with a graffiti background and it’s really cool. Also I was really stunned after watching the movie about graffiti called “Bomb the system” and a few documentary videos like Style Wars. It changes my life and I never look back after that.

What trends are you seeing now in the graffiti world that you don’t like?
Write for cash. I saw some of the writers only start painting because they think they can make a good income from it and it get’s in my nerves. Yes, that’s good if you could make something out of it to pay the bills, but street cred is the why we do it in the first place. Its a sensitive issue. I don’t want talk much about it.

What do you do when you’re not painting?
Spending my time with my lovely wife and daughter, just chillin’, drink coffee and have a mellow day like anyone else.

How would you describe your style?
I always get fascinated on how graffiti letters work. That’s why my style is always about letters. I love how every alphabet connect with each other. The way my letter flowing and my colors dancing with each other are the message. Even in letter also we need to logic idea transfer. Nowadays there’re lots of writer with crazy and powerful burners. It’s a good time to be alive!

Can you remember the first piece you did?
Back in 2004 in my own room.

Future plans?
There’s so much in my head but currently just enjoying time with family and homies.

Do you adapt your pieces and tags to the spot/surface?
Yes but depending on the surface I have to work with. For me it’s hard when you paint on raw or virgin wall because the wall will absorb your color. You need a good brand of spray paint to cover it. There’s always a special sketch of my style depends on the wall size and surface, but with perfect color combo and good idea of concept, your piece will definitely looking good and spot on.

What do you think about the new generation of writers in your city?
It’s hard to say and also a sensitive issue. Im also still need a lot of learning in this. Just need to pass down for the new ones to learn about knowledge/history first, respect and attitude come first before everything.

What are the best and worst aspects of graffiti?
The best thing is you gain a lot of connection around the world, the worst is not everyone understand the fun and how awesome graffiti is and it’s the identity of every city in the world.

Who do you paint for?
Just for myself. But sometimes it’s a good to know that when you show up your good work, you get to inspire others in your crew and other people.

What writers have inspired you?
I’m inspired by a lot of crazy dope writers from Europe. Some other local members also inspired me like my crew (PHBKLK), Asmoe, Mozak and many more.

Can you ever feel tired of graffiti?
I’m in my thirties and I’m still haven’t thought to stop or tired to this this wonderful world with my graffiti.

What do you hope people will think and feel when they see your stuff?
I hope people appreciate and love what I’ve done. There’s a lot graffiti writer have to sacrifice like money, time, love and many more. For god sake please try and appreciate all graffiti for what it is and feel the messages we try to deliver.
