Name: Omega100
Crew: TMBS, GSARF & FAUST
City/Country: Hungarian countryside/Hungary
When did you start writing? 2004
What’s graffiti for you?
A secret society with ordinary people and unusual experiences.
Influences?
Nikola Tesla and Dr.Doom.
Tell us about your city, how is life and graffiti there?
Well the town where i’m from is super small, there is no graffiti scene, only pesky people looking out from their windows, wanna know what are you up to. Luckily i moved from there long time ago.
What keeps you still writing?
Seeing other people reaching new levels that i didn’t even know that it existed before.
What first made you interested in graffiti and how did you end up on that track?
Hip-hop culture made me interested for sure, but i never got into it really, until i got to high school and i had my first chemistry class, which was super boring at that moment. So i started to sketch a random word, and it came out really cool, so i decided that i’m going in.
What trends are you seeing now in the graffiti world that you don’t like?
#vegangraffiti
What do you do when you’re not painting?
Working, and having beers after work, and regretting the beers the next day at work.
How would you describe your style?
I can’t describe it, just trying to make a graffiti piece true to the game all time.
Can you remember the first piece you did?
For sure. I messed up my jacket pretty bad. Got home too late. Mom was upset.
Future plans?
Free energy for the people on planet Earth.
Do you adapt your pieces and tags to the spot/surface?
Yes of course.
What do you think about the new generation of writers in your city?
Well if there’s any, rock on!
What are the best and worst aspects of graffiti?
The experiences. Both ways.
Who do you paint for?
For the movement.
What writers have inspired you?
I got my first true inspiration from a nearby city, where were a quite big scene, and nobody really knows about it still. From there i can name Yous, Nobs, Kelogs, Sector, Hopa, Chines, Bush, Higs. From now days people like Nomad, Dems, Balko, Urocki, Kosem, Druid, Rota, Pako, but the list can go on until infinite times.
Can you ever feel tired of graffiti?
If i have to paint with a hungover yes.
What do you hope people will think and feel when they see your stuff?
“Mammia mia, here we go again!”
