Crew: Not repping any crew
City/Country: Cold Coast, Australia
When did you start writing?
Started in 1992
What’s graffiti for you?
Expressing myself and having fun painting my letters.
Can you tell us a bit about the local scene in your city/country:
The area I’m from has the world’s largest legal wall that attracts writers from all around the world and Australia. The quality of work is of a high standard and the scene here thrives, with plenty of inspiration from the variety of styles and famous writers and surrounding attractions. Painting commuters is becoming harder. Been painting a lot of freights, which travel from one side of Australia to the other.
Your best travel memory?
Getting morning shots of my first international whole car running with my travel buddy in crime, Scary.
How would you describe your style?
I have several styles. I started painting traditional letters and then 3D letters. Along the way I mixed the two together, which has now evolved into a lot of bevel style lettering. I have kept true to my traditional letter shapes in my pieces.
The New York pioneers, especially KASE2 had a big impact on me in the beginning. As well as a lot of my early inspiration came from my local area, with writers such as SKAN, DVISE, EXIT, SEIZ, SEIKO, BLEND, SMERK and BORE. Lately, the writers I paint with influence me; SNARL, DASHE, SBECKY, MYER and SOFLES have all rubbed off on my styles.
